VOLUNTEER

At present there are two committees that would welcome volunteer support and involvement. 

Community Outreach Committee

Glenda Thornton, Chair thorntong@flalottery.com

Goals: To build community support and communicate regularly with supporters and prospective supporters. Advocate for a public referendum in 2014 to continue the 1-cent local option sales tax which includes The Florida Center for Performing Arts and Education. 

Education Committee 

Donna Callaway, Chair callawayd@mail.leon.k12.fl.us 

Goals: To define and further refine the program offerings of The Florida Center for Performing Arts and Education for specifically for children, families and schools. Invite elementary, secondary and post-secondary educators to give input on The Florida Center’s future programming and to act as advocates for The Florida Center.
